We might recommend a crown if 60% of more of your tooth is missing, that could be from tooth decay or a broken filling. The crown will strengthen your natural tooth and help it to live with you into old age.

Bridge the gap
A dental bridge is designed to fill a gap in your teeth. It fits over two teeth that have a gap in the middle and the bridge literally forms a bridge where a false tooth can be fitted to work as a new tooth.
A bridge is a permanent solution and once it’s in, will last for many years. Before we can fit your bridge we’ll need to check the strength of the teeth either side of the gap to check they’re stable enough. We’ll also assess the size of your gap to make sure it’s not too wide.
