How does the veneer work?
The veneer is a shell that’s fitted to your tooth. It’s designed to mask any small spots, defects and chips on your front teeth.
To fit the veneer we remove a small amount of your tooth, that means the procedure isn’t reversible but don’t worry, veneers are hardwearing and will last a long time if you look after them.
We use veneers to mask minor tooth overlap but we won’t recommend them as a quick fix for crooked teeth, in these cases we’d combine veneers with Invisalign braces. It takes a little longer but it’s worth the wait to get it right.
